上瘾与戒断:社交媒体青少年模式的实践效果研究Hooked and Unhooked: The Practical Implication of Teen Mode on Social Media

摘要(Abstract):
本研究着眼于社交媒体成瘾问题,聚焦中国社交媒体中青少年模式的部署,强调平台干预的特殊作用。通过田野观察和文本分析相结合的方法,对微博、知乎和小红书等平台上有关青少年模式的使用体验和讨论进行了主题分析。研究发现,对于青少年群体而言,不适配的内容、容易绕过的漏洞、算法驱动的持续上瘾与替代沉迷,以及由该模式引发的家庭冲突,使得青少年模式在遏制未成年人社交媒体使用和成瘾方面效果有限。但令人意外的是,研究发现了青少年模式溢出边界的作用,即用户将青少年模式当作粉丝投票、过滤冗余内容和功能、规训各年龄段社交媒体使用的工具,用户还进一步对防沉迷系统提出了覆盖更多平台与更广年龄段的需求。此外,研究还发现,平台在利润追逐、法规遵守和社会责任承担之间的冲突中仅仅是表面妥协。本研究扩展了关于社交媒体成瘾中以平台为中心的干预措施的理论讨论,为未来的研究提供了一个起点。另外,对于青少年模式的改进,不仅要停留在时间、功能与设备的限制层面,更重要的是利用算法来主动减缓青少年群体的上瘾行为。
