讨论异质性与不文明用语对美国公众政治极化的影响研究How Discussion Heterogeneity and Incivility Shape Political Polarization: Evidence from the American Public

摘要(Abstract):
本研究结合问卷调查与实验方法,探讨讨论异质性和不文明用语对美国公众政治极化的影响。实验采用2(不文明程度:文明vs不文明)×3(讨论环境异质性:同质、对立、混合)的仅后测对照组设计(N=528)。结果表明,被试的政治立场是讨论异质性影响极化效应的重要调节变量;同质组被试的态度和情感极化程度都高于对立组,即群体极化效应在内群体条件下比外群体条件下更显著,且不仅影响态度还会影响情感。
