媒体与传播创新应该研究什么样的问题——数字化时代的研究议程What to Study When Studying Media and Communication Innovation——Research Design for the Digital Age

摘要(Abstract):
20世纪最后20年起,传播以技术为中介,从模拟向数字化转变,对人类沟通产生重要影响。这个过程通常被称为(数字化)创新。本文从规范的角度重新审视媒体与传播研究对创新的认识,并在此概念上发展出创新研究议程。这项研究议程根据民主公共领域要求而设,分五个层次:结构条件,内容生产,传播和媒介经济学,分布与传递,以及使用和用户体验。传播创新研究(CIS)应该对传播创新进行跨学科研究,评估和测量诸如自由、平等、多样性、团结和参与这些民主价值观的改进或退化情况。
